Rick has now been the subject of three biographies, originally a book called "The Caped Crusader" written by his good friend Dan Wooding. Rick had also written an autobiography called Say Yes! which is out of print, but copies can be found online. Now, to be published in 2026, a brand new updated autobiography The Wizard of Prog will bring his life story right up to date.
In addition, Rick has written a couple of books of anecdotes about his colourful life as a musician, both in the studio and on the road. The first is available as an audio book.
